We were in worship recently when I saw a picture unfold in my mind’s eye. When this happens it is our spirit receiving something from the Lord. This happens to us more than we realize. 

Think back over the last few days and you most likely will recall some picture or thought flash across your mind like movie. God is constantly speaking to us, He loves sharing his thoughts and heart with us. Our awareness and tenderness to His presence enables us to catch his communications to us.

As this picture flashed, I grabbed hold of it and lingered in the wonder and joy of all I saw. The Bible calls this meditation. When the Bible refers to meditation, it comes with a visual. The visual is of someone chewing. It is not just a quick few chews, it is more like chewing gum. 

We mediate all the time as humans, so often on negative things. When our mind is rehearsing and replaying something over and over again, it is mediating. 

As we worshipped together as a group of people, I saw in this picture the breath, sound and sung words of our worship going far out to the edge of the region where we were geographically. As it hit the edge of that region, the breath, sound and sung words built a wall.

This wall was stopping influences, vibrations and arrows that were unhelpful, evil and destructive. This worship wall bought protection and cast light onto the entire region.

The words and songs were simple. The singing easy. The consequence profound and powerful as all harm, unrighteous and crookedness was subdued and extinguished when it hit the wall created by worship. 

As I shifted back out of the picture, I was in awe of the wonder, power and comfort from what was happening in the realm of the spirit. 

When we worship God so much is released and stirred in the spiritual realm that we can be so unaware of. This particular day the provision of God was released. 

Walls of protection God wants to release to you right now. Worship establishes that wall you need.

Grab the moment right where you are, in the office, at the gym, in a lounge chair, by your bed.. and ask God for a song to sing, a poem to write, a picture to draw or carve out, a phrase to declare and declare it with thankfulness.

That’s your worship. It happens anywhere, anytime you focus on Jesus! Worship and watch the wall of protection be established over you and your region.
