Season of Sudden Changes

1 min read
A week ago I was run off my feet day and night, then 2 days ago, it suddenly changed. Suddenly meetings that were scheduled, got rescheduled. Several factors that made last week crazy significantly changed and what seemed a busy fog last week, now has a more spacious feel about it.
This is a season of sudden changes.
So if that has happened to you or is happening to you, don’t be alarmed. It is the season God is setting.
The season may not be long, so take a breathe, take some long walks, DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Find its new rhythm. For surely you will need what is available from this moment, in the next.
Malachi 3:1 says “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple.”
The sudden changes of God bring creative elements into our lives. Creativity is God’s nature. All He does is create. (Gen 1:1) He makes new. He doesn’t rebadge or tape up. He makes all things new. (Rev 21:5)
This is a season where God is inviting us all into new levels of creativity. This requires humility and vulnerability, and a resilience to play! This may feel exactly opposite to what is around you or what was in the previous season of last week or this week.
He has new for you. Enter into the season change and enjoy the new He has for you. Lean into it, don’t resist it. Surrender your yes to Him, this is the highest virtue in the Kingdom of God.
Enjoy the good He has prepared for you since the foundations of the world. “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—” 1 Cor 2:9 Give Him your yes today and enjoy the journey, for surely the season will change again and quickly.

What Others are Saying..

“These past 6 days have been so encouraging, the daily devotional was answering questions I didn’t know that I needed to ask, and confirming much of what I knew already. It was in simple language, each word given in a way that they went deep into my spirit and they still are there, waking me up, encouraging me, lifting me. Thank you Helen. Rich blessings.” – Pam
