Right Now Anything Can Happen

Right now anything can happen. Everything is possible.

When you read those words, does it spark something inside of you and you come alive? Or does it clash with something inside of you and you find yourself dismissing it?

Right Now anything can happen. Everything is possible.

We are in the middle of Passover right now. As Israel stops as a nation to celebrate Passover, they do so remembering the freedom God won for them in leaving Egypt no longer as slaves!

They remember He is a God of miracles! He is a God where anything can happen, everything is possible.

When an Angel showed up to a 14 year old girl and announced to her she would give birth to God. “I am the Lord’s servant, may your word to me be fulfilled” was her response.  (Luke 1:38)

It is natural for us to respond in faith. This is the most natural response, we have.

But there is something that challenges this in these moments. Contempt.

Zechariah 10:8 says, Do not despise the day of small things.

We are being tutored so effectively in our world right now how to live the culture of contempt.

Contempt: the feeling that a person or a thing is worthless or beneath consideration

Did it hit that?

When we discount whatever process we have made and criticize ourselves of what we are not, we actually hurt the progress we made.

Sometimes we have a seed that started to grown and someone comes in and kills it because it’s not a full grown tree. We’re pretty good at doing that to ourselves also.

You don’t steward the small into maturity by discrediting or condemning it.

So what do we do with that something that it hits?

The most courageous and freedom choice is lean into it. Be honest. Surrender and stay with it. Let Him speak to that which He hit when He spoke those words.

He’s safe. He doesn’t condemn. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:17

He is the God of miracles. Anything can happen and we discover this through surrender to Him not resistance.

Faith is a result of leaning in and surrendering our yes to Him.

Don’t miss the new thing that is springing up in front of you.

Right now anything can happen. Everything is possible.
