Rejection of God’s Heart? No!

“I ask then: Has God totally rejected and disowned His people? So I ask, Have they stumbled so as to fall? By no means! But through their false step and transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to arouse Israel and to make them jealous. Now if their stumbling has so enriched the world and if failure means such riches to the Gentiles, think what AN ENRICHMENT AND GREATER ADVANTAGE WILL FOLLOW THEIR FULL REINSTATEMENT!For since the Jews’ rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, what will their acceptance mean? It will be life from the dead!

But if some of the branches were broken off, while you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share the richness of the olive tree. Do not boast over the branches and pride yourself at their expense. If you do boast and feel superior, remember it is not you that supports the root, but the root supports you. They were broken off because of their unbelief and you were established through faith. So do not become proud and conceited, but rather stand in awe and be reverently afraid. Even those others Jews, if they do not persist in clinging to their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.

I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery: a hardening has temporarily fallen onto a part of Israel until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob. For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. Just as you were once disobedient and rebellious toward God but now have obtained His mercy through their disobedience, so they also now are being disobedient that they in turn may one day, through the mercy you are enjoying, also receive mercy. Oh the depths of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How fathomable are His judgements! And how mysterious are His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has ever been His counsellor?” Romans 11: 1,11,12,15,17,18,20,23,25,26,29-34 (The Amplified Bible)

And with these words God pierced my heart. That was 4 years ago. Now 4 years on, these very words of God grow stronger within. The heresy of Replacement Theology (where the Church replaces Israel & Israel is redundant & irrelevant to us now) deeply grieves and disturbs my spirit. The Word of God shows the Church has NOT replaced Israel! God can not disown His heart for them, His first born, His chosen ones. Our God is BOTH of the Old & New Testament. He is true to His Word, to his Covenants. He has said much & covenant much to Israel. They have a purpose and plan still!

Constantly churning over in my spirit has been the question, “What greater blessing will come to the world when the Jews come to their fullness and accept Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah?” (reference to Romans 11:12) What will their fullness look like? What will the “one new man” from Ephesians 2, look like? I dont want to miss anything that the Lord has destined. Do you?
