There’s a strong presence I feel God is persistently bringing to this moment.
I keep hearing the word, curiosity.
Over and over again, keep curious. Value curiosity more than what you think, understand, have previously experienced or perceive. Keep curious.
Presumption doesn’t feel like its a good servant now. It feels more like a hindrance.
But curiosity – that choice that invites us to be a learner, to value a growth mindset, to rumble with the new, the unknown, the frontier that is foreign to us.
A hard choice that, because we have to let go of our stories, our prejudices, our fears, and trust.. trust process, trust curiosity rather than predetermined experiences where we have made judgements.
It requires us to think.
And to let go of them, we have to first, be honest we have them! Truth sets us free. But it kicks our butt first before it sets us free.
This is about letting ourselves be vulnerable and the new discoveries to be added to ourselves, and the old order to fall, fall in importance, fall in its influence on us.
Curiosity is a choice in many ways to trust.
To trust in something other than our judgments. Curiosity. There is so much of it needed, especially right now in our connection with God. It is vital for us to live in the supernatural, to be led by the Spirit of God.
Keep curious. It’s your best friend.
“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There is it!” Isaiah 43:18-19
