CALM is your key

Word of Knowledge for November

There is uneasiness and pushing/aggression in the atmosphere right now. You may experience the atmosphere even as feeling volatile.

Resonating with what Brene has observed and what you are experiencing?

There is a spiritual aspect to what is in the human atmosphere. The devil wants to get you out of sorts so he can push you out of control into a spirit of fear and intimidation.

CALM is our key.

“He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.” Proverbs 17:27

How to Do Calm

1. Take your time – resist the hustle of the moment. Slow your walking, talking a little. When you slow yourself physically, you also slow yourself mentally. You will find as you simply slow the pace of your speaking or your moving, your thoughts will slow also. Make a deliberate choice to go a little slower.

2. Take a moment for yourself – value the space to decompress. Even if it is just for 10 mins, take a moment to walk, read, sit with a cup of coffee. Decompressing is not just about you letting your thoughts, heart, spirit, day land, it is a very active way of resisting the atmosphere and what your enemy the Devil wants to spin on that. It’s about taking you back.

3. Pray – in tongues or pray the Lord’s Prayer and bind fear in Jesus name. This is activating your spiritual authority and begins to shift to your focus and awareness to God.

4. Smile – be friendly. It will shift the atmosphere with amazing speed. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the power of a smile. A stranger is not an enemy, it is a friend you haven’t met yet. Your family is not your rival, they are your best ally. Smile and it will shift the atmosphere in you and around you.

Your Intermediate Guide to something else other than feeling afraid and being told who you should be afraid of. Arguably one of the greatest challenges of our day, breaking through fear and mastering courage.

“Taking part in the Living Courage course with Helen marked some of the most transformative and insightful processes I have had with God in my journey with Him thus far. I have been particularly impacted by understanding the role that shame and honour has played in my life, and challenged to practice love unconditionally as a result of understanding how un-confessed shame erodes the quality of the love that God has called us to. This course awakened me to a new method of communicating with others, particularly in the realm of evangelism, as the Gospel can penetrate a shame culture and bring the Spirit’s freedom to Australians struggling with their own identity. Personally, I feel that I now understand how to better love myself in a way that empowers me to love and lead others better as a result of exposing shame-based thinking and replacing it with courageous, loving and faithful thought processes! Thank you, Helen!”
