Christianity isn’t supposed to be what you do it is supposed to be who you are. A Christ centred one.

Don’t brashly announce what you’re going to do tomorrow; you don’t know the first thing about tomorrow. Don’t call attention to yourself; let others do that for you. Carrying a log across your shoulders while you’re hefting a boulder with your arms Is nothing compared to the burden of putting up with a fool.

This has been a key verse for me for probably 20years. Guys we need each other, we need to be open and vulnerable and to listen to and even request input from others. Otherwise we go dull.

“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Prov27.17.NKJV

Having a Good Day! I just hooked up a traveling ministry team in Bangalore, India with a young local Indian pastor there. I know God is ON this, turns out they are just 15mins apart!! In India that is amazing! Gotta love what God can put together.

God wants you to experience pleasure, not torture or punishment. That is the other guy.

Scholars pride on their knowledge of God or the scriptures, but I haven’t seen this lead to a lot of Love-abandonment for Jesus or freedom. If you want true freedom in your love-pursuit of God then I believe we need to be able to esteem our heart responses to God above our head responses to Him. This love abandonment is beautiful indeed. Yes He is that Good and yes we can trust our hearts to Him that much. MG

Ever since I have truly believed that God could do a better job of running my life than I could. My life has gotten unbelievably freer and wonderfully better. Best handover that I have ever done.

Nothing that stands against us, around us, or that is leaning on us is formidable from God’s perspective. When we truly know who God is and His stance and affections towards us then we can always rest and sleep firmly and deeply in His arms. He is GOOD! MG

There are a lot of massively awesome things in the Bible, we just have to choose if we are going to believe them and then live as though we do believe them. Hang on that’d be Faith!

Worship isn’t a production, it’s a Love response.

Do some Play worship with your kids today. Invite them to play with Jesus, it’s awesome what they will come up with. No adult rules allowed, whatever they come up with is great.
